This Privacy Policy explains how MadisonSubs.com, operated by Stone Fence Holdings LLC ("we," "us") in Rutland, Wisconsin, handles information. We keep this short and plain on purpose.
1. Information we collect
- Directory information — business name, trade, city, phone number, rating, and website, compiled from publicly available sources and from what business owners give us.
- Claim and correction submissions — when you claim a listing or report wrong information, the details you send us.
- Paid-plan information — the business details, photos, and preferences you provide so we can deliver a Verified listing, website, or the Local Growth OS.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment but do not store your full card number.
- Basic site usage — standard, mostly anonymous information about how visitors use the site, used to keep it working and improve it.
2. How we use information
- To operate and maintain the directory and show businesses to people searching.
- To deliver and support the paid plans you buy.
- To contact you about your listing or your service.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To meet our legal obligations.
3. What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not sell your leads or customer contacts. For Local Growth OS customers, your leads and contacts belong to you; we use them only to run your service, and we can export them to you on request.
4. Service providers
We share information only with the providers that help us run the business — for example, Stripe for payments, our hosting provider for the website, and GoHighLevel (the platform behind the Local Growth OS) for customers on that plan. These providers handle information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
5. Text messages
For Local Growth OS customers, our platform sends texts on your behalf to people who have contacted your business (missed-call replies, follow-ups, and review requests). We handle the carrier registration required to send business texts legally and do not send spam.
6. Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to function and to understand basic, aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold and keep it only as long as we need it to run the directory, deliver services, and meet legal requirements.
8. Your choices
You can ask us to correct or remove your business listing, or to provide or delete the personal information we hold about you, by calling or texting us. We'll honor reasonable requests promptly.
9. Children
MadisonSubs is a service for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
